The ITAKURA brand began in Gifu, the sacred land of prestigious wood, as a manufacturer of premium live edge wood materials by a long-established lumber company. With a proven track record in the sale of single-slab materials, the brand has earned high praise in both the timber and furniture industries for its lineup of dried wood and superior material quality. What we now call ITAKURA1.0 focused primarily on the production of raw logs, one-piece slabs after sawing, and dried materials. In contrast, ITAKURA2.0 is an upgraded product line that not only highlights the excellence of the materials but also incorporates advanced processing and design, elevating the brand to new heights

Anti-Warping Process in ITAKURA2.0 products refers to techniques designed to minimize the natural tendencies of solid wood to warp, crack, or shift over time. This process consists of two key components: tailored drying methods – where one of four different drying techniques is selected to best suit each individual board – and warp-reduction treatments, applied to the back or other areas of the board depending on its size and intended use.
アンチワープ加工とは、ITAKURA2.0プロダクトにおいて無垢ならではの反りや割れなどの動きを最大限抑えるための加工です。ITAKURA2.0のアンチワープ加工には、4種類の乾燥方法から一枚一枚の板にあった最適な乾燥を組み合わせる乾燥加工と、一枚一枚の用途とサイズに応じて板の裏側などに行う反り軽減加工の2つの加工により構成されます。

一枚板のような無垢は、その素材の特性故にある程度は動くことが当然です。しかし、ITAKURA2.0は当然の自然の摂理を理解しつつも、学術機関とも連携して実証実験を行うなど、使いやすさや機能性に最大限配慮をし、アンチワープ加工の研究を進めてきました。ITAKURA2.0のアンチワープ加工は、世界中のいろいろな場所でお使いいただくことを想定し、自然素材である一枚板が厳しい気候環境の中でどのように動く可能性があるかを予測しながら行う加工であり、そこが他の一枚板製品と異なる、表には見えない技術の見せ所でもあるのです。

ITAKURA2.0 products are crafted from natural solid wood, and due to the inherent properties of this material, you may notice seasonal changes such as warping or cracking depending on your usage environment and climate conditions. As part of our commitment to aftercare, ITAKURA2.0 offers a lifetime warranty, ensuring that our products can be enjoyed for generations.
For one year from the date of delivery, we will provide free reprocessing at our manufacturing facility for any significant defects that affect usability. After the first year, reprocessing and other maintenance services will still be available for a fee, allowing you to continue using your product comfortably for a lifetime.
- Even within the first year, shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer. Whether an issue qualifies as a significant defect will be determined through consultation based on the product’s condition.
- As each product is custom-made, returns and exchanges are not accepted. Please understand that, as a general rule, any adjustments will be made at the manufacturing facility.
ITAKURA2.0のプロダクトは、自然界の無垢材を活用しており、その特性のために、ご使用上の環境や気候条件により、反りや割れなどの動きが季節に応じて見られる場合がございます。私たちは、ITAKURA2.0のアフターフォローとして、世代を超えて永久にお使いいただくことを想定し、永久保証を行います。ITAKURA2.0の納品から1年間は、ご使用上重要な瑕疵については無償にて製造工場での再加工を承ります。1年間を過ぎても、有償にて再加工等を承りますので、永久に快適にお使いいただくことが可能です。
- ※ 納品から1年間以内であっても、送料は原則ご負担ください。ご使用上重要な瑕疵かどうかの判断は、製品の状態に合わせてのご相談となります。
- ※ オーダー加工製品ですので、返品交換はいたしかねます。原則製造工場での手直し加工となることをご理解ください。
